Interested in a career in mental and behavioral health? The MBH-PEI internship offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to earn Peer Specialist State Certification—a valuable credential for entering the field.
Since 2022, more than 60 young adults have successfully completed this program. Many graduates have gone on to work at Sacramento Youth Center, local mental health clinics, schools, and other community organizations. This is a great way to build skills, gain professional experience, and open doors to meaningful careers helping others.
