Social Work/Human Services (SWHS) students and community members are welcome to register for this series to gain an understanding of the supervised experience in SWHS and related career fields. Participants will get information about internship readiness for SWHS majors and support for future semesters.
You can choose to attend one or both of the following sessions:
- Tuesday, September 29, 2026: Certified Wellness Coach
- Tuesday, October 27, 2026: Chemical Dependency/AOD
Students already meeting the requirements to enroll in SWHS 367 with SWHS 498 must complete the following course before beginning their internship and/or completing any internship hours towards their degree/certificate:
- Completion of SWHS 300, 302, and 350 with a C or better
Chemical Dependency Majors requirements:
- Completion of the above-mentioned courses and SWHS 340 and 341
- SWHS Application, and enrollment eligibility met
