CRC computer information science programs include study in computer programming, information systems security, computer networking, management information systems, and computer applications. A wide range of degree and certificate programs are available to meet the needs of transfer students who plan to complete a four-year degree as well as career/technical students who plan to enter the workforce.

Cyber Defense Education (CAE-CDE) Designation

Cosumnes River College is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD).

NSA Letter of Designation

This award was established by the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with the support of the National Science Foundation (NSF) and CyberWatch.

The goal of this program is to proactively increase the understanding of Information Assurance (IA) and Cyber Defense (CD) technology, policy and practices that will enable our nation to effectively prevent and respond to a catastrophic cyber event. This program will contribute significantly to the advancement of state-of-the-art IA/CD knowledge and practice.

Cybersecurity Program Wins Top Rankings

CRC's Cybersecurity program was ranked number seven in the nation (out of 150 schools) and the top cyber program in the state of California.
