Roberts Family Development Center (RFDC) empowers North Sacramento youth through academic enrichment and community programs. As a CDF Freedom Schools partner, we run a 6-week summer literacy program for 1,200+ students, focusing on social justice and academic growth. We're seeking Servant Leader Interns (SLI) to mentor and lead a class of 10 scholars using a culturally responsive literacy curriculum. Required training includes local sessions (April/May TBD) and national training in Tennessee (June 3-8).
Open to all majors, especially Education such as Child Development and ECE, Math, Ethnic Studies, Sociology, and Social Work and Political Scence. Gain leadership experience while making a lasting impact!
