The free two-day* Summer Transfer Academy prepares you to successfully transfer to a four-year university. All Los Rios students intending to transfer are welcome to participate.
Topics may include the following:
- Transfer 101 – Learn the basics about transferring to a 4-year university
- Understanding Financial Aid – How financial aid works at 4-year institutions
- Transfer Planning Tools – Information on the UC Transfer Admission Planner (TAP) and the CSU Transfer Planner
- Special Transfer Programs – Learn more about ADTs, HBCUs, Honors programs, & UCLA TAP
- Student Panel – Hear from former Los Rios students who successfully transferred
- Managing Transfer Stress – Tips and strategies for coping with the stress of transferring
- And more!
Summer Transfer Academy will be held in-person at CRC, and online via Zoom.
