A blue and orange hawk with the words Together We Soar

You give of yourself daily through your work, and CRC appreciates all you do to impact the lives of thousands of students each year. No matter what your job is, you play a role in helping the college educate the best and brightest people in our community. If you are passionate about supporting scholarships, student success, and educational programs, you will not have to look far to find your passion represented at CRC. We encourage you, as employees, to consider supporting a cause you care about on our campus. The size of the gift doesn’t matter, but giving together does.

Where Can I Give?

  • Annual Fund donations support programs and services across campus and fund Innovation Grants.
  • Center for Inclusion and Belonging (CIB) Student Success and Equity funds help support the monthly cultural and heritage month celebrations (Pride month, Black History Month, Women’s History Month, etc.). The CIB also employs student advocates who support the center’s operation and help lead the cultural months. In the fall, we will be debuting an equity and advocacy program for students to learn more about concepts like equity and bias, while developing skills to be advocates for themselves and others.

Or give to the area that is most important to you! Scholarships, Basic Needs, Performing Arts, and more!

Why I Give

Theresa Tena

"I began my contribution when I began my employment at CRC. My role overseeing the college budget painfully highlighted the “gaps” in student support which the Los Rios Colleges Foundation was uniquely positioned to mitigate. In addition, the pandemic presented special challenges for students and the Foundation was nimbly able to provide financial resources to students in an efficient and streamlined manner.”

—Theresa Tena, Vice President Administrative Services

Teresa W. Aldredge

"Supporting our students through payroll deductions has been one of the easiest and most rewarding investments I have made.”

—Teresa W. Aldredge, Ed.D., Umoja Diop Scholars Counselor/Coordinator College LRCFT Union President

Trevor Stevenson

"We all contribute so much, every day, to help make our students’ dreams hatch into reality. It is humbling to also contribute in this specific way, by creating another pathway showing our support for students in the community.”

—Trevor Stevenson, Receiving Clerk
