Lottery Numbers and Pool Categories
Your application will be assigned a lottery number and pool category. Students may request their application lottery number, their pool category, or both, no earlier than the first Thursday in June, by e-mail or phone call from the ST Program Director.
Admittance Announcement
Decisions for admittance into the Surgical Technology (ST) Program will be announced annually on the third Friday of June by 5:00 pm, by e-mail to accepted applicants, and may involve a personal call from the ST Program Director on that day. All students will receive some form of notice (via email and/or telephone call) regarding their admission status into the ST program.
Reserve Admittance
A minimum of three “Reserve Admittance” applicants will be selected, with no more than 15 on the waitlist, using a lottery-selected order. In the event that an admitted student cannot accept their admission, that Reserve student may take their place. Reserve Admittance students will receive conditional admittance until an admitted student declines their admission to the ST program. If no student drops and all accepted students choose to remain in the ST program past the first Census date, those Reserve Admittance slots will be canceled, and conditional admittance will be revoked.
