The Cosumnes River College Veterinary Technology Program does not offer veterinary medical services to the public.
Cosumnes River College's Veterinary Technology program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Eligibility Requirements
Effective for entry into the Veterinary Technology Program for the upcoming Fall Semester: new students are accepted into the Veterinary Technology Program only in the fall of each year.
The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for entry to the Veterinary Technology Program:
- High school graduate or equivalent (for example, GED)
- Biology 400 or college level equivalent, with grade of “C” or better
- Biology 440 or college level equivalent, with grade of “C” or better
- Chemistry 305 or Chemistry 400 or college level equivalent, with grade of “C” or better.
- Once admitted to the program, students must provide proof of vaccination against rabies prior to the first day of the fall semester.
