Please note:
- The maximum funds available for the Housing Deposit Reimbursement Assistance request is $500 and all emergency situations must provide proof with written documentation. A maximum of one deposit assistance grant will be given to any one student during all enrollments at CRC. Hawk CARES staff will verify all information directly with the landlord/leasing agent. Proof of payment to the landlord/rental agency must be under the student's name and submitted to CRC's Hawk CARES Student Support Specialist to receive reimbursement. - Utility Assistance is capped at $250 per academic year. You must submit proof of a past due utility bill and/or shut-off notice from the utility company. The bill must be in the student's name to be eligible. Proof of payment to the utility must be submitted to CRC's Hawk CARES Student Support Specialist. - To qualify for any of these services, you must be enrolled in a minimum of six units at CRC and have CRC as your home campus during the semester in which you are requesting services. We will also communicate with you via email or phone call regarding your resource request application. If you are unable to respond to our emails or phone calls within a week, your request is subject to denial.
Note: most of our services are reviewed and approved based on one student per household. The last day to submit a request for Utility Assistance and/or Deposit Reimbursement this Fall 2025 term is November 14, 2025 to ensure that the request will be reviewed and completed.
