Module 9 - EOPS Eligibility Requirements Overview
To qualify for EOPS, students must:
Enrollment Requirements
- Be enrolled in at least 12 units for your first semester
- Units may be combined across LRCCD colleges (CRC, SCC, ARC, FLC)
- At least ONE course must be taken at CRC
- CRC course must apply toward:
- Major requirements, and/or
- General education requirements
- DSPS students approved for reduced units are exempt from the 12-unit requirement and can take less than 12 units once a letter of reduced units is provided to the EOPS department.
Financial Aid Requirements
Students must complete:
- FAFSA
- CADAA
- CCPG
- or qualify under AB540
Students must also have:
- A Student Aid Index (SAI) between -1,500 and 0
Unit Limitation
- Students must have earned fewer than 70 degree-applicable units
Students Must Meet One of the Following:
- First-generation college student
- High school GPA below 2.5
- Did not graduate high school or pass the GED/high school proficiency exam
- Current or former foster youth
- DSPS student
