Need to Update Your Placement?
If you completed a high school math course after applying to CRC, you may be eligible for a placement reevaluation. Submitting your final transcript could improve your placement. See placement re-evaluation to learn more.
If you have taken the AP Calculus exam or AP Statistics exam, EAP or CAASPP exam, email a completed Math Clearance/Challenge Form and a copy of your exam scores to admissions@crc.losrios.edu. Be sure to indicate the CRC course on the Math Clearance/Challenge Form you wish to clear the prerequisite for.

We strongly recommend that you enroll in Calculus with concurrent support. The content of the support course is designed to provide arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and learning skills support to students as they learn concepts in their calculus course.
This depends on your STEM placement level.
- If you are placed in STEM 5, you may take MATH 400 + MATHS 60 (Calculus with its concurrent support).
- If you are placed in STEM 3, you may take MATH 375 or MATH 384 with its concurrent support.
- If you are placed in STEM 1, we recommend students take MATH 372 + MATHS 72 and MATH 373 + MATHS 73.
- The Math Center offers drop-in tutoring for all levels of math.
- We offer one-on-one tutoring at the Tutoring Center.
