Welcome to the Math Center! The Math Center at CRC helps students develop confidence and proficiency in their math skills. We can assist in all levels of math, providing mostly in-person support with limited hours online.
- MATH 70 – Arithmetic Skills Lab for students enrolled in MATH 20
- MATH 71 – Pre-Algebra Skills Lab for students enrolled in MATH 30
- MATH 72 – Elementary Algebra Skills Lab for students enrolled in MATH 100, 101, or 102
- MATH 73 – Intermediate Algebra Skills Lab for students enrolled in MATH 120, 125, or 144
- MATH 74 – Statistics/Geometry Skills Lab for students enrolled in MATH 110 or STAT 300
- MATH 75 – Non-Transferable Math Skills lab for students enrolled in all non-transfer level math courses
- MATH 76 – Trigonometry/Precalculus Skills lab for students enrolled in MATH 335 or 370
- MATH 77 – Calculus I/II Skills lab for students enrolled in MATH 341, 355, 356, 400, or 401
- MATH 78 – Calculus III/DE/Linear Algebra Skills lab for students enrolled in MATH 402, 410, or 420
- MATH 79 – Transferable Math Skills lab for students enrolled in all transfer-level math
You can access Penji (CRC Online Tutoring) via the website or app.
How to Access Math Tutors on the Penji Website (CRC Online Tutoring):
- The student drop-in process is easy! Visit the Los Rios Penji website.
- Log-in with your wID email and password.
- Make sure you are on the Tutoring tab, also located on the left-hand side.
- Next, click on View drop-in rooms.
- Search for "Math Support" and click Next.
- Continue by clicking Check-in now.
- Type in topics, assignments, or problems you want help with, and click Check-in.
- Select the tutor if they are ready for you, otherwise you will be placed on the waitlist for the tutor to admit you into the Zoom room.
- Once the tutor is ready for you a box will appear prompting you to connect with them on Zoom; click Open in Zoom.
- Once in, tutoring is now in session.
- Before you leave, check-out by typing in the chat your First Name, Last Name and wID number.

How to Download and Access Tutors on the Penji App:
- Download the app and log-in with your wID email and password
- Join your campus and courses
- View profiles, chat in-app, and schedule sessions, all with tutors from your school
Penji Student Sign Up on the App:
Students that formally enroll in one of the Math Labs for credit, please be on the lookout for a notification to accept the Math Center course, which will then display on your dashboard. If you have any difficulties locating the course information, or are a late add, please e-mail CRC-Tutoring@crc.losrios.edu.
