How to Become a Tutor
If you are interested in becoming a tutor at CRC, please complete the form below to request more information. You will be contacted and sent an application to complete. You may also contact CRC-Tutoring@crc.losrios.edu or call (916) 691-7140 for more information.
We are currently accepting applications for Spring 2027. Applicants who meet the qualifications will be contacted in December with further information about the next steps in the application process.
Requirements
- Must be a student taking at least six units at a Los Rios College for the semester you will be working
- Earned a B or better in the subjects interested in tutoring
- Must be a high school graduate
- All new tutors must complete an online training

Occasionally there are tutor positions available through Federal Work-Study to qualifying students.
