If you don't see something you're interested in, find a faculty advisor who will guide you in forming a new club and mentoring its members.
The Student Life and Leadership Center (SLLC) welcomes the opportunity to work with club officers and advisors in continuing the club tradition at Cosumnes River College. Purpose: We want to provide members insight and new perspectives on visual art, and create a community for artists to connect and share opportunities with each other. Purpose: The purpose of Board Game Club is to build community and provide a space for individuals who enjoy board games.

Business and Finance Club
Purpose: The club will develop leadership qualities in finance, entrepreneurship, and business by equipping students with practical knowledge, networking opportunities, and hands-on experiences. The intended methods of improving financial literacy, an entrepreneurial mindset, and business acumen among members through workshops, guest speakers, discussion among peers, and projects that involve collaboration. Simultaneously, the club links up students with professionals and small business owners in the locale, opening up routes to internships and career opportunities.

Purpose: The Business, Law, and Society (BLS) Club caters to all students with and without a social science or humanities background. English Language Learner and Immigrant Support (ELLIS) Club
Purpose: The purpose of the organization is to support English Language Learners and immigrants on their path to academic and personal growth. With inclusion and opportunity as core values, the club is a bridge between the college and the diverse community it serves. The primary focus of the ELLIS Club is to provide a place of community for our English Language Learner students while helping newcomers understand and navigate the cultural expectations of being a college student and community member in the United States. Our goal is to help students feel welcome through conducting how-to and awareness workshops about the college experience. Additionally, we provide interpreter services and seek to create a sense of belonging via social and networking opportunities. The club also serves to promote awareness of how its members contribute to our vibrant community and celebrate the important role that these students play in our multicultural society.

Environmental Community Organization (ECO Club)
Purpose: The purpose of this club shall be to expose students to the reality of climate change and environmental degradation. Additionally, we aim to give students the means to pursue environmental justice; either via advocacy for effective legislation or community outreach engagement to inspire collective sustainability efforts.

Film and Media Studies Club
Purpose: The club has formed as a way to interact in a more direct way with film and media studies issues outside of the classroom. This includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Holding space to analyze film/media texts, discuss general film/media issues in contemporary culture
- Hold screenings of films/TV/media for discussion, present and develop ideas for conference papers
- Engage in discussions about degree options, discuss programs for transfer, industry questions, what to do with a film studies degree?
- Brainstorm ideas for screenplays or short film ideas, connect with fellow FMS students to collaborate on writing or film projects

Purpose: Welcome to the Inclusive Nutrition (IN) Club! This club offers a platform to explore the diverse health impacts, research areas, career paths, and philosophies within the field of nutrition and food. We welcome all students, with a special focus on those who may have previously felt excluded from this field. As members, you'll engage in discussions on current nutrition issues, watch and analyze nutrition and food-related films, interact with professional guest speakers, plan projects to enhance food access and tackle food waste on campus, share recipes and enjoy cooking together.

Muslim Student Association (MSA)
Purpose: The purpose of the Cosumnes River College Muslim Student Association is to provide a safe space, support, and a voice for Muslim students attending Cosumnes River College. The Muslim Student Association aims to help preserve the sense of community, provide and advocate for accommodations, and provide support tools such as prayer mats, prayer space, hold prayer groups, community dinners and other community building events as well as provide materials such as translated versions of traditional Islamic literatures for students seeking to learn more about Islam. We seek to make the college experience for Muslim students a fun, great, and memorable one.

Purpose: Our photography club fosters creativity, learning, and relationships through photography. Pre-health Club
Purpose: The PreHealth Club (PHC) shall serve all LRCC students who are majoring in (or exploring) a medical- related field. The purpose of the club is to provide information and resources to students seeking careers in most health-related fields with an emphasis on the pre-medicine pathway. As guest speakers, the Club shall invite physicians, surgeons, residents, medical students, nurses, and physician assistants to share their experiences in the healthcare field. As volunteer hours are also required for medical school applications, opportunities for community service and volunteering shall be made available to club members. Due to the incredibly stressful nature of Pre-med and Pre-health courses, participants shall also provide each other peer counseling.

Purpose: The Psychology Scholars Society aims to inspire recognition for students dedicated to psychology, celebrating both their academic achievements and passion for the field. Purpose: Build a brotherhood and empower Latino male students to be self-advocates and leaders on and off the CRC campus by validating their experiences, supporting the various needs of our students. C.A.R.N.A.L. aims to meet the needs of our Latino male student population while embodying the principles of academic excellence, culture and brotherhood.
Cognitive Science Club
Purpose: The Cognitive Science Club at CRC gives other students more information, and support regarding this major. This major is a good opportunity for students that are currently studying or have an interest in neuroscience, general science, psychology, linguistics, and anthropology in which they all are a good fit for this major. Also, this club is opened to all students especially the ones that do not know what to major in, this club will give students the opportunity to join in and learn if this major might be the one for them. This club will also be an area where other cognitive science majors can meet and support each other.

Purpose: Bringing together and empowering students with the tools of mentorship, education, and innovation to become successful entrepreneurs.

Global Medical Brigades
Purpose: Global Medical Brigades at Cosumnes River College is a secular, international student-operated volunteer organization whose mission is to provide sustainable development to underserved communities throughout the world. Along with affiliate groups at other distinguished universities, our Cosumnes River College team recruits student volunteers and professionals, gathers supplies, and then travels overseas to set up free medical clinics in a variety of Honduran, Panamanian, and Nicaraguan communities. Our organization will hold one trip per year, taking place during academic breaks, and provide ongoing year-long educational and professional development opportunities that relate to international health and development to members.

Purpose: The purpose of the LGBTQ2S+ Club at Cosumnes River College is to create a supportive and inclusive community for LGBTQ2S+ students and their allies. Raise awareness about LGBTQ 2S+ issues, and rights. Provide help by offering a safe space for students to connect, share experiences, and seek support. Advocate for LGBTQ2S+ rights and equality on campus and in the broader community. Organize educational events, workshops, and discussions to educate the campus community on LGBTQ2S+ topics. Celebrate the diversity of gender and sexual identities through events and activities. Encourage the involvement of allies who support LGBTQ2S+ rights and inclusion. Provide resources and support for the mental health and well-being of LGBTQ2S+ students.

Pacific Islander Student Association
Purpose: The goal of the Pacific Islander Student Association is to build a space for students who identify as Micronesian, Melanesian, and or Polynesian. As well as bringing more awareness to PI social justice issues and bringing more recognition to Pacific Islanders students at CRC as well as in the greater Sacramento area.
