One of our main goals is to assist you in successfully enrolling and completing your classes throughout your first year at CRC. We are committed to serving a diverse student population, promoting equity in all of our practices. We are here for you!
The Success Coaches focus our high touch support on first-time new students in our Career and Academic Communities (CACs) during their first year. We also support new and returning students in our CACs through coordinating programming and connecting students with resources. We’re excited to meet you!

Bio: Greetings! I'm Gurpreet. I was born in India and came to the United States when I was six years old. I am a CRC alumni and earned my Bachelor's degree from CSU Sacramento. I understand the struggles of being a first time and first generation college student. I am passionate about supporting and helping students reach their educational and professional goals. Bio: I was born and raised in Northern California and began my career with Los Rios Community College District in 2006. I have been working with students at CRC since 2015. My passion is assisting students in reaching their educational and professional goals. As a first-generation college student who entered college later in life, I understand first-hand how the transition into higher education can be difficult. My commitment is to always be a steadfast resource for our students in order to help them successfully navigate their college to career pathway.
I am excited to soon be a graduate of CRC with degrees in both Liberal Arts and Social and Behavioral Sciences with the goal of transferring to Sacramento State. In my free time, I love spending time with family, fall and football season, traveling to Lake Tahoe and exploring new places. I look forward to meeting you!

Bio: Hello everyone! My name is Katt, and it is a pleasure to meet you. I grew up in the Central Valley where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and Master’s Degree in Counseling at Fresno State. I have served in various student support roles in both the CSU and community college setting since 2018, with a goal to give back to others what my mentors had given to me as an undecided first-generation student – hope, and a pathway to succeed. Here at CRC, I am proud to continue on serving as yet another guiding light as you navigate through the ins and outs of college, and I welcome you to lean on me and the team when questions, challenges, or concerns arise throughout your educational journey. Remember, you are not alone in this! When I am able to get into “self-care” mode, you can find me either traveling to new places, attending concerts, and being the best fur-mom I can be to my two Siamese cats. Let’s connect!
