Official College ID Card
Your student access card is your official college ID card and gives you access to student benefits and activities.
To get a student access card, you must:
- Be enrolled in at least one class (not waitlisted)
 - Provide a photo ID (if it is your first time getting a student access card)
 - Get your picture taken
 
Access Card Pick-Up Locations
Check with the following locations for their hours of operation:
- CRC Main Campus, Welcome Center, College Center – see Main Campus map
 - Elk Grove Center, Student Services, EGA 102 – see Elk Grove Center map
 
Student Access Card Benefits
Effective Fall 2025, students enrolled in the current semester (at least one class) may pick up a term sticker to receive the following benefits:
- Proof of current enrollment
 - Discounts at local businesses
 - Free entry to campus sporting events
 - Free entry to campus events
 
Lost or Stolen Cards
You get one student access card free each academic year (June 1 through May 31). A replacement card costs $5.
Replacement ID cards are available Monday through Wednesday.
You can pay for a replacement card at:
- CRC Main Campus, Business Services Office, College Center, first floor – see Main Campus map
 - Elk Grove Center, Student Services, EGA 102 – see Elk Grove Center map
 
After you pay, bring the receipt for your payment to a location where student access cards are issued to get a new one.
Damaged Cards
We will replace damaged cards for free. Bring the damaged card to a location where student access cards are issued to get a new one.
Digital UTP
The Universal Transit Pass (UTP) is available electronically via SacRT's mobile fare app, ZipPass. The UTP is no longer tied to the student access card.
