Bio: Hi! I’m Carrie Reyes Cruz! I’ve been with CRC since 2019, and I went through the Los Rios system after I graduated high school. I graduated from Sacramento State with a Bachelors in Studio Fine Art and I’m very passionate about helping new students navigate their way through the higher education process. I’m a first generation Nicaraguan American and first generation college student in my family. I love tabletop games, anime, movies and video games! I’m happy to help, and most of all, welcome to CRC!

Bio: Hi! My name is Taylor. Usually, I go by Tay! I’m from 916, born and raised. I graduated from American River College with my A.A.-T in Kinesiology and A.S. in General Science, then transferring to CSU Monterey Bay where I received my B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. I have served in various roles within the Los Rios Community College District since 2017. Also, I have experience within the fitness realm as an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, dabbling in having different personal training and physical therapy related positions. I love being an academic cheerleader for students and doing everything in my power to help them be the most successful. I enjoy this work and the memorable experiences I am able to have with the students I serve! Additionally, I love spending time with my daughter and experiencing life with her. I look forward to meeting you!

Bio: Hello everyone. My name is Vanessa Werner and I am from California’s Central Valley. With over ten years of experience in higher education, I am deeply committed to supporting students and find great fulfillment in helping others reach their academic goals. As a first-generation college graduate myself, I understand the transformative power of a college degree and the opportunities it can create. I recognize that each student comes with their own unique background, experiences, and aspirations, and I am here to encourage, guide, and empower them as they pursue their educational journey. Bio: Hi everyone! My name is Doua Yang. I grew up in Sacramento and have lived here most of my life. Despite living out of the city now, I am very excited to still be able to come back to my hometown and stay connected to the community that I am familiar with.
